Carnegie Hall - May 3rd 7pm 2016
We are proud to be taking the Suzuki Schools back to Carnegie Hall in 2016.

Open enrollment to participate will start Jan 10th 2016.
Every enrolled student receives 4 audience tickets
(participating students do not need to purchase a ticket).
Enrollment provides each student a coach ride to and from Carnegie Hall, departing from Westport, CT.
ALL PERFORMERS MUST (without exception) ride the coach to Carnegie to ensure entrance to the hall and attendance at our stage rehearsal.
Parents may opt to collect their child after the performance and drive them home separately.
Parents who wish to accompany their child may purchase an additional coach ticket.
Children will be monitored by chaperones and teachers throughout the experience.
EVERY STUDENT IS REQUIRED TO:
- attend the final dress rehearsal on 1st May 2016 2pm
- ride the coach to Carnegie Hall
- students unable to commit to these requirements will forfeit their participation. No refund will be made.

If you are an active member of the Suzuki Schools or our partner schools please read the guides to assess whether you are eligible to participate.
Your child can participate if they can play:

HARP - by arrangement with your teacher
VOICE - by arrangement with your teacher
PIANO PARTICIPATION is limited:

We will be bringing close to 200 children to the performance. In addition to our staffing we are looking for 20 volunteer chaperones to help us. Each chaperone will be assigned 10 children to monitor and care for during the entire day SIGN UP FOR CHAPERONES WILL BEGIN JAN 10TH.
Chaperones are asked to ride the bus with us. Come with the children backstage and remain backstage during the performance.
Chaperones will be asked to attend a special organizational meeting.
Donating to a Child in Need
We are bringing 30 children from our Bridgeport program KEYS (Kids Empowered by Your Support). Your donation will support a Bridegport Child or a Suzuki family on Financial Aid.
If you will not use the 4 tickets alloted to your child please consider donating your tickets back to the school.
If you need all your tickets please consider purchasing an extra ticket or a place on the coach for a child in need and their parent.
Seating, Costs & Pre-Purchasing Tickets
General enrollment will start January 10th 2016 but you can reserve your space now,
ernoll your child AND get the best seats in the house by bidding on a Box in our online auction, starting Dec 14th. Purchasing a box also gets you our "official photo package"
To reserve the BEST SEATS IN THE HOUSE before January 10th and ensure you can see your child clearly we are pre-selling boxes in online bidding to help us fundraise for the event. If you have more than one child participating a box can be a cost effective way of getting great seats.
If you purchase a box above its listed value you will also be helping the school fundraise for the event and the difference between its value price and your purchase price will credited to you as a donation towards the school.
Tickets will be on sale to the general public through Carnegie Hall from March 2016.
Since Suzuki will be sharing the performance with the Stamford Youth Orchestra, tickets will be limited and we are pre-selling tickets to ensure everyone can bring their family.
General enrollment of your child will provide you with 4 tickets to the open seating in the Parquet Area. Enrollment also includes a seat for your child on the school coaches to Carnegie and covers the costs of all rehearsals including the required dress reheasal on Sunday, May 1st. The details of general enrollment, includign the options for the official photographic package, will be available on January 10th.
